I know which way I lean on this one.
someone said sweeney was the death of woke
so she must be canceled
The movie mocks God, from what I've heard.
You may have gotten that backwards...
Nope. She’s very woke.
Everything coming out of Hollyweird mocks God.
a former coworker's brother was an aspiring actor. He was in a number of acting classes with Charlene Tilton in Hollywood. Classmates agreed she blew scenes and ruined their lines in class and she was the worst actress in the aspiring group. She got roles on one episode each of Happy Days and Eight Is Enough. Then she tried out and got the role of Lucy Ewing from 1978 to 1991 on the #1 rated show Dallas. Today she is only estimated to have a net worth of $2 million. At least it's something.
she’s eye candy, who cares she can act...
Not to this degree. It appears to be the entire point of the movie.
look like she is drawing fire from both sides
This whole Sidney Sweeney thing is a contrived controversy.
It reeks of fake news.
But then, so does so much alleged news nowadays.
>> This whole Sidney Sweeney thing is a contrived controversy. <<
Yep, both she and Carol Baum are being talked about now... this is why they pay PR people to come up with this stuff. It’s **all** contrived!
This is off the topic at hand, but found this interesting from the piece [Baum produced] David Cronenberg’s excellent “Dead Ringers” [which]features...two of Jeremy Irons’ best performances.”
Two performances, so I guess he plays two parts! My friend loves him I think, wonder if she’s seen this.
Almost like E. Jean Carroll telling us that she was prettier than any of Trump’s wives.
Irons plays both twin brothers. I've never seen it but I read it was pretty gruesome (typical for a Cronenberg flick).
I think Sydney Sweeney will win that war hands down.
As they say in Hollywood: “There’s no such thing as bad publicity!”
Both have been elevated and noticed in the public’s eye and are getting plenty of media airtime right now.
I don’t see how this could hurt either of their careers.
Hollywood loves a good cat fight.
The body, OTOH, is pretty darn impressive. As far as I can tell the breasts are OEM.
All of that aside, I have not seen her act, nor am I anxious to do so. Don't care.
This is my idea of beauty, grace and class, Cyd Charisse:
Cyd had amazing legs and grace in her movements.
Stars back then had actual talent and were well trained.
Today a star is what? Someone in a show that gets attention and winds up in the fake press.
