The military doesn’t disclose their dependency on China, but let’s just say that if China decides to close the spigot, we are TOTALLY HOSED.

I figure if Washington goes to war with China, it will be in the same position as Admiral Yamamoto in WWII: ""I shall run wild considerably for the first six months or a year, but I have utterly no confidence for the second and third years."

Once Washington start needs spares and replacements and discovers the parts, or sub-assemblies of those parts, are coming from the East Asian theater or China directly, it will be all downhill from there.
