Today is the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing.

For terrorists that was definitely a hard target.

But the night of that terrorist attack was a spectacular fire at an anhydrous facility in Texas.

There was at least one account of suspicious activity at the facility preceding the fire.

Unsurprisingly nothing ever came of that to my knowledge.

That would be viewed as a soft target by terrorists.

I think taking out the Baltimore bridge with a container ship would also be considered a soft target.
