Sorry you're not in the loop. The point of the guilty / not guilty comment is to harshly remind people of the double standards with crimes against minors by men versus women and the dual legal systems we have.
This sick truth comes from a judge in a Tampa court who let teacher Debra Lafave avoid prison because she was "too pretty for prison", after she had sex with a 14-year-old male middle school student of hers, and the Florida Supreme Court upheld the judge's sentence.

So, be sick of it. Be very sick of it, but understand what's really be referenced. This woman is far from the only female criminal who faced a lesser sentence. The next time someone tells you about the validity of government or law, or oppressed women, just remind them of the double standard of how men are sentenced and women are sentenced for their crimes.
Yeah. All the I wish she was my teacher, and where was this teacher when I was a student, and 16 is old enough comments prove your misguided point.
You are right. Her actions and lack of restraint will lead to her divorce and losing her job. It might screw up the kid as well. No one wins in all this.
