More Americans Say U.S. Is Not Helping Ukraine Enough
Gallup ^ | APRIL 12, 2024 | MEGAN BRENAN

Posted on 04/12/2024 8:06:11 PM PDT by MinorityRepublican

As military aid for Ukraine remains stalled in the U.S. House of Representatives, Americans themselves are equally split, at 36% each, between those who believe the United States is doing too much to help Ukraine and those saying it’s not doing enough. However, this is a more favorable balance of opinion for Ukraine than last fall, when more thought the U.S. was doing too much (41%) than not enough (25%).

This comes as Americans’ perceptions of who is winning the war have also shifted, with more now saying Russia rather than Ukraine has the upper hand, although a majority of U.S. adults still see neither side as winning.

Partisans remain sharply divided in their opinions of the war, with Democrats more supportive than Republicans of helping Ukraine. However, the gap is now at a record high, given the surge in Democrats’ belief since last fall that the U.S. is not doing enough. Republicans’ minimal agreement with this position hasn’t changed, and political independents’ views are closer to Republicans’ than Democrats’.

If “more Americans” were forced to pay their taxes they’d be whining that the dumbasses in Congress have given the Ukies more than enough to whip the Russkis ass if you believe what the news is reporting about how JO JO and Zelenskyyyyy’s wonderful war is going.

The “more Americans” need to start up some GoFundMe pages to help the Ukies.

Meaningless. If not made to give an answer to the question, most Americans don’t give a damn about Ukraine.
If the human and monetary costs were explained properly, Z would be dead by tomorrow.

A billion here, a billion there. When we get to the trillions, then we’ll be talking about ‘real money.’

I don’t think many “more Americans” have been to the Ukraine to observe and become an experts on the status of the war so they must have got their information from a CNN “influencer” or a Tik Toke “influencer”.

Sure they do. I doubt it ver much Putting the money issues aside, where are the factories to make the artillery guns, artillery shells, tanks, missiles etc. America has been deindustrialized by our moron establishment and no amount of money is going to fix that in the next 5 years. The way Washington is printing money maybe they’re planning to drop bales of $100 bills on the Russians.

Why is the US helping Ukraine at all?

And how much help did the CIA provide in the terrorist attack near Moscow?

I don’t give a flying fig about Ukraine and don’t think we should have given them so many weapons and so much money.—if any.

I do, however, have new Use neighbors. Nice couple who left Ukraine about a year ago. Think they are back there now, as their daughter still lives there.

When your president says he will send your kids there if they don’t get enough help to Ukraine, that sort of blackmail works on people.

Of course, here on Free Republic, we have Biden Brown Shirts that have always maintained this.

And, guess which side of the political divide thinks we’re giving too much to Ukraine. That would Republicans, especially conservative ones.

American Taxpayers Are Now Slaves to Interest Payments - 11/28/2023 Heritage Foundation EXCERPT:

Interest on the federal debt is now so immense that it’s consuming 40% of all personal income taxes. The largest source of revenue for the federal government is increasingly being devoted to just servicing the debt, not even paying it down.

The problem is getting worse daily . . .

US national debt tracker for April 12, 2024: See what American taxpayers (you) owe in real time

Thanks to a combination of high inflation, rising interest rates and unrelenting growth in the national debt, interest payments are expected to triple from nearly $475 billion in fiscal year 2022 to a stunning $1.4 trillion in 2032.

Given that the left refuses to cut spending on wasteful communist-socialist pogroms and too many politicians overall refuse to cut spending on pork . . .

Some time within the time-span of mid 2027 on up to mid 2029, all of personal income taxes will be paying all of the interest on the national debt. None of personal income taxes, will be paying down the national debt.

With that in mind, along with the bottlenecks, chokepoints, and roadblocks created by government bureaucratic regulations, weighing heavily on what American producers can/might do . . .

Plus the theft by the left, as the left steals what it can by way of thoughtless Biden (and successor) socialist-group-think edicts . . .

Dodging recently-re-released criminals between the defense plant and home, and 'empowered women' not apparently lined up at the military recruiters' offices . . .

Is not conducive to eastern Europe finding relief from the government inventions made up by the Democrat Party.
