Leading Black lawmakers are advancing different sets of bills, raising questions about whether they have competing visions. But the chairperson of the California Legislative Black Caucus on Wednesday said there’s no rift between caucus members, just a strategic discussion over which bills to prioritize this year.

KEYWORDS:
Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer, who was also on the task force, is sponsoring another bill not included in the caucus’ slate that would create a funding mechanism aimed at narrowing the wealth gap between white and Black communities in California.

So wealthy Asians and Hispanics in California are exempt from reparations and the financial burdens created.

Can't decide between $10 billion, $1 billion or $100 million each of Neverland Bucks? Such a tough decision.

Everybody who wants a “reparation” check should be required to complete 30 years of picking cotton before they are considered eligible and one is issued to them. They should also be required to pay taxes on all the reparations “free bucks” they are given.

It’s like a bunch of monkeys at the zoo fighting over a camera that fell into their caged area; it’s not theirs, they don’t know what to do with it and they’ll break it.

So, after the wealthy whites leave the state that will just leave the rest of us white folks that can’t afford to leave. We will have to pay for all this bull s^^t or pack up what we can and run before they start the re-education.

Fantasy Gimmiestuff committee can’t agree on how much gimmiestuff they want to ask for that neither they, or the politicians appointing them, or the California public knows they will not get a single dime after they finish up their circle jerk

Talk of reparations comes up every few years before major elections. What hill happen is nothing... Well, the 'black community' might get a new MLK Community Center and jobs for the 33 activists who worked on the project.

Fine. Give blacks reparations on the condition that their US citizenship is immediately revoked and they must move to a Sub-Saharan African nation within 90 days.
I’m so sick of this crap, wished Lincoln would have told Douglass to pound sand and sent all of the freed slaves back to Africa.
