BINGO! I read the same thing, years ago. He fled the school shooting, then when it was safe he bicycled back.

According to the other posts, he wasn't even in school that day until he hopped on his bike for the publicity stunt after the place was secured.

In either case, the only danger he was ever exposed to was tripping over his long forked tongue.
