What’s your point? I wrote basically the same thing as you. What you wrote also only mentions a price hike, nothing else.
To: ChicagoConservative27
If everything we buy is carried thee by plane, train and truck, then what we buy will have to go up in price if gas is up.
Thus, how can the utopian low inflation future just before the election come true?
Also people who commute for work or work in sales and have kids going to practice and lessons driven by parents pay a fortune when gas goes up. Money which cannot go to the economy as retail purchases, food or savings. Or vacations and entertainment. So bad economy, right?

Which is why you meant to finish the post by saying “so I’m on the bus most of the time. Takes a lot longer and is inconvenient but good for the climate and in line with leftist urban policy.”

Heh; I’m saving all the pennies to fill-up the Jeep’s 25gal tank.

Will this will make others as angry as I am?——
California, Maryland, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington and the District of Columbia have made the commitment to stop allowing sales of new gas-powered vehicles.
The states’ plans have not required votes from their legislatures. Instead, they’ve been advanced with support from governors and environmental regulators.
From: Money Magazine, 8 States Now Plan to Ban Gas-Powered Car Sales, March 21, 2024.
Other articles are about curtailing gas stations.

“Sorry, 112 % increase but that is bad enough.”
That makes more sense.

“Other articles are about curtailing gas stations.”
That’s what will come too soon: the EPA regs putting refineries/ gas stations out of business, and forcing ICE-to-EV conversions, even faster. They will cripple and kill America for their phony-baloney, criminal ‘green’ crap.

You wrote this:
The state’s largest H2 fuel supplier has hiked its pump price to $36 per kg across all 37 of its filling stations.
I merely put it in context.

I can only get about 23.5 in my tank.
(I’ve no idea how much is left in it when the Fuel Low light comes on.)

A 'commitment' is worth about what the job of vice president says it is.

I used data from the link you provided.
$36/kg up from $13.14 per kilo is hardly a 1400% increase.

The problem I have is not with you, but the link.
They talk above the cost of apples going up, but then they compare it to the cost of tangerines.
It gives data showing a 20% in 3 years for hydrogen, then it chastises electrics for being so expensive. (What was the price increase, in 3 years, for the electric?)

You originally wrote: "Your reply made it seem as though the price hike alone was responsible!"
I only mentioned the price increase and nothing whatsoever about the cause of it and neither did you in your response.
It gives data showing a 20% in 3 years for hydrogen, then it chastises electrics for being so expensive.
173% increase in the price of hydrogen.
$36/kg up from $13.14 per kilo is hardly a 1400% increase.
It doesn't say anything about a 20% or 1400% increase. It's a 173% increase between April 2021 and September 2023.
I never mentioned anything about the electric cars. I was only showing that the price of fuel for these green cars was up even more than the outrageous price hikes of gasoline during the Biden regime.
My comment had nothing to do with apples, oranges or tangerines. It was about the high cost of fuel.

I never mentioned anything about the electric cars. Then someone has hacked your FR account.

Kill off the Keystone XL.
Send lawyers after oil companies.
Deny drilling permits in the Gulf.
Drain the SPR.
The major oil companies are not exploring for new wells. They are working the hell out of existing wells but that is not good for the future of supplying our energy needs.
