I’m sorry, but if I were to kill someone in a negligent discharge I’d certainly have an emotional reaction. I’d expect nothing else from Baldwin.
As in most fatal accidents, there were multiple failures in safety protocols, some by Baldwin and some by others, both before and after the handgun was placed in his hand.
And as Baldwin pulled the trigger, the ultimate failure was his.
But that he had an emotional reaction afterwards doesn’t change my opinion in the slightest. It has no bearing on the actions or failures to act that led to this tragedy.
Yes. Well put.
Prosecutors accused Baldwin of “frequently screaming and cursing at himself, at crew members” and of losing control.“To watch Mr. Baldwin’s conduct on the set of ‘Rust’ is to witness a man who has absolutely no control of his emotions and absolutely no concern for how his conduct effects [sic] those around him,” said papers filed by prosecutors at the First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe.
Yes, the below sentence could be more clear, but "in the aftermath of the fatal shooting" applies to changing his story, not his unprofessionalism on set.
Alec Baldwin lost control of his emotions on set, put others in danger and also changed his story in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of a movie in New Mexico in 2021, according to new court documents filed by prosecutors.
” are at risk of collapse because of climate change”
I don’t think they are talking about “afterwards”.
Totally agree.
I’ve been an active shooter
since the age of 7
years old.
It was drummed in my head
then (and since) to ask
when handed any firearm,
if it’s loaded. And once
handed over, to always
point it in a safe direction,
and to keep ones’ finger
clear of the trigger guard.
I doubt very seriously if
Alec ever attended any type
of a firearm traing session.
