The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Monday handed over transcripts of an interview with President Biden's ghost writer Mark Zwonitzer, whom the president gave classified documents, but refused to release audio of ex-special counsel Robert Hur's Biden interview. While the DOJ has handed over transcripts of Hur's interviews with Biden that led him to conclude the president is 'elderly' and 'well-meaning' but has a 'poor memory,' Republicans are unsatisfied. They insist they need audio of the interview too. They subpoenaed transcripts, notes, audio and video files largely related to Hur's interview - giving Attorney General Merrick Garland until Monday at noon and threatening him with contempt if he does not comply. The DOJ said in a new letter to GOP committee chairmen that the department had already been 'extraordinarily' accommodating in giving up the Biden transcript.

“Extraordinarily accommodating?” Why how kind of them! So the DOJ doesn’t understand how subpoenas work?
The Committee Chair is perfectly entitled to send the House Sgt At Arms to arrest and jail Garland until he complies. It’s a plenary power inherent to Congress.

They know people don’t read. Same advisers fought (and won) for Hunter Biden’s testimony to only be in Transcript form.
Does a Transcript tell you how long he pauses? Do it show statements posed as reaching questions? The Sheep aren’t interested in reading Transcripts.
Of course Garland will get away with whatever he wants. Even if republicans could scrape up enough votes to do anything. It seems that they don’t have the authority to do anything about democrat. And Garland is the head of the DOJ. The end.
If they have audio, I’d want it too. I would never trust DoJ “transcripts” to be accurate verbatim text. Now that they have refused, were I Comer, I’d start to chatter about the “transcript” being edited.
And his corrupt delusional henchmen...
