Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said Sunday that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) will be blamed if the U.S. fails to provide aid to Ukraine and it loses its war against Russia.
“Now, he has to think about his conscience, because I got to tell you, if Ukraine loses this fight, he will be the guy in the history books that are written about why Ukraine lost this fight,” Kinzinger said in an interview on CNN. “They won’t necessarily say that he’s the one that pulled the aid, but he’s the one that could have done something which changed it.”
“We need to recognize the fact that Ukraine — it’s not us helping Ukraine. Ukraine is helping us, by fighting to defend themselves against one of our chief competitors and frankly, enemies in this world,” Kinzinger added as he highlighted the importance of passing aid to Ukraine.

For 12 long, agonizing years I suffered the indignity of having this punk as a representative. The democrats gerrymandered two republican-held districts together to get rid of one. It happened to be my congressman, Don Manzullo, who was a real conservative. I’m convinced the dems helped this Tea Party phony get in and he immediately started stabbing republicans in the back. True to form, democrats rewarded his treachery by changing the map again in 2022 in a way that made his re-election almost impossible. So like most democrats, he retired.
This rat should crawl back under his rock and shut his mouth. Giving Ukraine $60 billion won’t win the war. Even $150 billion won’t win them the war. The money isn’t about helping Ukrainians, it’s about campaign money and filling certain pockets.
Someone should ask Adam what comes after...like after the money and ammo doesn’t save Ukraine? Adam have any kids he conscript?

The Ukraine war is lost regardless of the amount of money and military aid. NATO country militaries, would need to invade Ukraine to change the war in more favorable direction for the Ukrainians.

I lived in Davis Junction (Ogle County) at the time, and Manzullo was my rep. Good man. Not a movement conservative, but no fake show either. A solid vote. That election was a tragedy.
