I think it matters because we have two separate problems with separate solutions:

1) Some Leftists are stupid and believe the lies about MAGA and Trump.
2) Some Leftists are evil - they are the ones spreading the lies.

The solution to #1 is to try to educate them and win them over.
The solution to #2 is to try to expose them and destroy them.

Unfortunately, I can’t always tell which is which.
