If the new regs have been issued after a formal rule making, they can’t be simply cancelled on day 1 of the next administration. It will be necessary to work the problem through the regulatory process. Biden will have left activists embedded in all the key career positions, the activists will wage scorched earth lawfare to obstruct any regulatory reconsideration, and activist judges will do their part. It’s not an impossible problem, but it will take time. The first time around, Trump’s presidential personnel operation was a complete shambles even without the systematic democrat sabotage. Unfortunately, I see no indication that Trump has learned. Chaotic improvisation and twitter wars aren’t going to do the trick. Trump has to actually fully staff his administration this time around, and he needs a whole phalanx of savvy bureaucratic operators ready to go the day after the inauguration. Has he even begun to put that kind of team together? Not that I’ve seen.

Excellent analysis...thanks. In the wee hours of the morning when we all face reality, I agree with you. As much as we love Trump and his bluster, he really needs adults to guide him through the dem minefield.

I would prefer: "ready to go the day BEFORE the inauguration."

You mean like the laws and regulations in the books that require or mandate that a president must protect our borders from foreign 'invaders', aka: illegal aliens?

Biden ignored and undid a lot of those laws and regulations, especially the ones put in place by Trump. If Biden can do it with just a stroke of the pen, what's to stop the next president from doing likewise?

EVs and climate change regulations and mandates can be undone just as easily as they were done. And the people will actually applaud and appreciate dismantling of those mandates and regulations.
