The Republican Establishment hoped that Trump would be like the Tea Party. It would "sting like a bee" and then disappear. That's not how it played out.
Republican Establishment politicians are all about money and power, not representing the voters. As soon as a congresscritter arrives, he is told to sit down at the phone and dial for dollars. He is told to vote the Establishment's way or face poor committee assignments and a primary challenge at the next election. He is kept in line with campaign contributions, hot tips for stock buys, honey traps or, if he or she is gay, fudge traps and carpet traps.
The Republican Establishment views Trump as bad for business and just wishes he would go away.

Completely Agree on that!
It’s really very apparent how it is!
Trump is a fighter and We HAVE To Be Also!
The Republican Establishment views Trump as bad for business and just wishes he would go away.
Yep ... bad for their monkey/corruptocrat swamp business.
Thanks very much, Publius for your excellent insight.
The Republican Establishment views Trump as bad for business and just wishes he would go away.
>>>I wish the Republican Establishment would go away.
They are the ones who are bad for the country’s business and only care about lining their pockets and getting along with our domestic enemies, the demonrats😡
