Republican Reps. Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar subpoenaed in 2020 election probe by Arizona AG: report

Arizona GOP Reps. Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar received subpoenas earlier this year as the Grand Canyon State’s attorney general looks into attempts to unlawfully reverse the 2020 election result, according to a new report.
The congressional allies of former President Donald Trump were issued the subpoenas and ordered to testify before a grand jury as part of Arizona AG Kris Mayes’ investigation of a so-called “fake elector” plot to block Joe Biden’s path to victory, Politico reported on Thursday.
Two sources confirmed the Biggs subpoena to the outlet, which also reviewed a copy of the Gosar subpoena sent on Feb. 16 to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.).
