So appreciate your kind words of support, Lakeside Granny.

I cherish expressing myself here on Free Republic and sharing my views with my FRiends.

Perhaps, I should take another look at why President Trump and most pro-life Conservatives believe that abortions should be dealt with at the state level.

I just pray that the rates at least slow down soon.

Finally, above all us at this point, I hope we don’t lose FLORIDA over this come November!!!

2024 ELECTION.🚨

Donald Trump takes abortion off the table as a major 2024 campaign issue by releasing statement that issue should be ‘left up to the states.’

“My view is now that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation, or perhaps both. And whatever they decide must be the law of the land. In this case, the law of the state,” Trump said in a video message on Truth Social.

“Many states will be different,” he added. “Many will have a different number of weeks, or some will have more conservative than others, and that’s what they will be. At the end of the day, this is all about the will of the people.”

According to Pew Research, nearly three-quarters of Americans (73%) rate strengthening the economy as a top priority.

Over the course of Biden’s presidency, the share of Americans citing immigration as a ‘top priority’ has increased 18 percentage points – from 39% to 57%.

Nearly seven-in-ten Republicans and Republican leaners (68%) and 47% of Democrats and Democratic leaners say reducing crime should be a top policy priority.

“About six-in-ten Americans (62%) say reducing the influence of money in politics should be a top goal for the president and Congress,” Pew Research noted. “While there are wide partisan differences on most policy goals, 65% of Democrats and 60% of Republicans rate this as a top priority.”

Abortion was not cited as a top concern among Republicans, Democrats, or Independents.
