Former President Donald Trump is says that his team is making a “play” for New York.
I don’t know about their chances. He certainly did get cheers and a great reception from cheering union workers at a construction site he visited at 6:30 a.m. (long before Joe Biden generally gets up). One worker let Joe Biden know what he thought of him in a classic New Yorker kind of a way.
Even a union leader came out against Biden and said he would be voting for Trump.
But Biden just made things a little worse for himself in New York when he went to Westchester to a fundraiser at the home of actor Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Part of the problem was that they hadn’t announced all the closures because of the visit to the area, so many were caught unaware and then trapped by the road closures and police. That left some people stuck in traffic for hours, according to the New York Post. It shut down businesses and it even denied at least one man entry into his own home.
They didn’t announce all of the road closures so people could know because of “security concerns.” But then they closed down a two mile stretch of road on Route 9 and shut down other roads.

If you buy into all the propaganda that Trump is Hitler, all is good and fare to keep him from power. The bad part will come when the “good” liberals face the same standard and go to jail unjustly in the future. They have sown the wind and will reap the whirlwind.

Efforts by the Judiciary Committee to investigate the District Attorney's prosecutorial conduct, including attempts to interview Pomerantz, faced legal hurdles. Despite earlier public statements hinting at prosecutorial misconduct, Pomerantz’s deposition before the Judiciary Committee reportedly revealed little.
The report concludes by underlining the importance of oversight and potential legislative reforms to prevent politically motivated prosecutions of presidents and presidential candidates by state and local prosecutors. This emphasis on legislative action was echoed by Bannon on the WarRoom program, where he called for urgent attention to the findings outlined in the report.
Bannon’s remarks brought attention to Representative Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, ‘s role in advancing the report's findings. Bannon, who earlier questioned Jordan's actions, said that Jordan and his staff want to bring the case forward.
Bannon then slammed Speaker Mike Johnson's apparent inaction regarding the report, saying Johnson was obstructing the report from going into action.
The sudden release of this report, at the same time Bannon, the WarRoom, Julie Kelly and others are applying pressure for a formal investigation, adds fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding alleged lawfare corruption against Trump and his supporters.

A defendant has the right to confront his accusers; to shine light on false statements by witnesses and dark distortions by overzealous prosecutors who hide the truth. It’s an effective method to test the veracity of evidence.
It was tested on Friday, and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg failed. But that won’t stop him in his dogged pursuit of former President Donald Trump in a legally perverse case.
Defense attorney Emil Bove vigorously cross-examined the prosecution’s first witness, David Pecker, the ex-publisher of the National Enquirer. Prosecutors sat uncomfortably, as important truths met sunlight.
Under questioning, Pecker confessed that his tabloid routinely suppressed negative stories and promoted positive ones involving candidates for political office because it was financially profitable. The witness agreed that other, more mainstream news organizations did the exact same thing. Paying for stories and sometimes killing them was commonplace at the Enquirer, he admitted, especially when celebrities were involved. It was not unique to Trump.
