Strong leadership was not in place when it was needed. Nobody should have been allowed to immigrate unless islam was soundly renounced. No mosques should have been allowed. That would have to be in place for any hope of assimilation.
Common sense tell you that one group who hates Jews and Christians will not long tolerate the Judeo Christian west. It’s only a matter of time and numbers.
