My bird story.

This guy comes and visits quite often.

He lands on my hummingbird feeder and I guess he must get something from it.

He is an oriole that identifies as a hummingbird.

He is beautiful.

I saw a female mockingbird identify as a finch so she could graze among them and get away from two juvenile male mockingbirds who wouldn’t leave her alone.

I put out an oriole feeder last summer for the first time. There’s not much difference between a hummy feeder and an oriole feeder. I think, IIRC, the oriole mix is a little less sugar than the hummingbird mix, but they’re basically the same thing. The oriole feeder also has stations for fresh cut orange pieces and some grape jelly.

I also see hummingbirds at the oriole feeder, so it goes both ways lol.

Judy I remember a few years ago I came across something you’d like possibly.

It was at a garage sale - a garbage bag filled with skeins and partial skiens of yarn. There were some 4 Or five in same color. And the colors were gorgeous. I don’t knit and couldn’t think of anyone I knew who knit. It was like $5. I’ve thought about that treasure often.

It was 2,daughters selling off deceased mom’s stuff

I have woodpeckers a male and female who show daily for peanuts. I call the male Pectacular because he is! The female is known as Mrs. P. Lots of doves too as well as a pair of cardinals...aka Red and Clownface.

Birds are fascinating. I was a biology major but never took one ornithology course. I had two emphasis foci - botany and entomology.

Most of my adult years I’ve regretted no bird studies.

I well used both foci but wish I had picked up 2-3 elective classes in ornithology

Ya know “ the Important stuff”

A lot of interesting things occurred to me today in the course the day

Well maybe just interesting to me😊

One perplexing/interesting. Sheriff deputy just left. Showed up because 911 call came from my sons cell. He was sleeping. Phone on table. 4th time in 6 days.
Maybe his phone is also possessed. Tomorrow AM I’ll check out his phone. We’ll probably go to Verizon

Has anyone here ever had that situation/?difficulty?

I’ll check his registry for calls made/outgoing. Can someone remotely do this?

“... Can someone remotely do this?”

I am not sure, but weird things happen when my sister (also a FReeper) and I are talking on our cells. Periods of 2-3 seconds of dead air at both ends, but no disconnection. Just started happening about a month ago. We’re both with Verizon.
