EARLIER UPDATE:
The Harrison homeowner who shot and killed an intruder early Tuesday morning says it was the second night in a row that his home was broken into.
The homeowner asked that we not reveal his name out of concern for his safety.
Neighbors on this street told us Tuesday morning they have always considered this a safe neighborhood and “still can’t believe it happened not once, but twice in a row.”
Investigators with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office tell us this kind of crime is rare for the neighborhood.
We accessed scanner traffic on Broadcastify where we can hear dispatchers talk of a total of 3 suspects entering the home. We're working to confirm more details about that.
Early Tuesday afternoon, HCSO posted a plea for help on their social media pages for homeowners who live in the Shirley Pond Road area.
They're hoping someone's home security surveillance footage can help them with this investigation, specifically between midnight and 2 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26th.
The post says they're specifically looking for footage of passing vehicles.
If you can help, contact Detective Stockman at mstockman@hcsheriff.gov.
Depend on us to keep you posted.

I wonder what the crooks were after....
Hint, the loose suspects are connected to the dead perp...
Are they going for a hat trick?
Check in tomorrow...
Perhaps his guns? They were stupid to come back.
doesn’t matter what they were after. what they took was the peace of mind that every homeowner should have in their own home. remember friends...Democrats want YOU disarmed and afraid in your own homes AND couldn’t care less whether your assailants are armed or not as long as YOU don’t hurt your assailants. how long until democrat voters realize and accept that democrat leaders hate America and particularly AMERICANS.
They may have been looking for guns, but all they got was bullets.
“They were stupid to come back.”
Brings to mind certain Illegal “Migrants”...
Suburb of Chattanooga. That explains a lot.
In order to solve the crime, first we know that the perps are Democrats, having voted at least a few times in each election since birth.
Hmmmm.....

No description. Weird.
No description = Black OR illegal aliens
Sounds like this might be another one of those “there’s more to this than meets the eye” situations.
There often is more than meets the eye.
Was this an organized criminal gang of illegal aliens? Because I saw an article the other day that Biden was sending illegals to Tennessee on purpose. The Dems are purposely attempting to undermine the Red states politically with these people.
