Now we know the author has NEVER voted for ANY Republican, and never would.

So why would she and the New York Times be concerned?

Because funds aren't going to be going to Republican candidates she and the New York Times would prefer any more, that's why.

The gravy train is over.

She isn’t wrong. Donations to Republicans have collapsed since 2016. Every successive election fewer & fewer. Those contributions & funds are pretty much necessary to win elections. The Demoidiots are getting bigger donations than ever. This article us obviously by a lib trying to rub it in our faces, but reality is still reality: something massive changed when we elected Trump. Everybody keeps wondering why we are losing elections- even ones we should be winning easily. This is a massive part of why.

I don’t care how much people here try & tell themselves that they are triumphing on some microscopic level by shrugging their shoulders, boycotting elections & shouting down establishment stooges. A loss is still a loss. We haven’t really had an election strategy since 2016, other than ‘elect Trump’. It’s a lousy plan for trying to change direction or prevent disaster. We can’t change course with one man in one office or without a coalition & if nobody passes our ideological test- we will never win 🙄
