Stephanie Pope had to have the Stamp of Approval from a group of folks at the top of Boeing management AND some or all of the Board Members. Obviously, this “group” of folks still controls things at the top and they haven’t learned a thing from AB and other companies like AB.

People have “instincts”. My daughter is a CPA and is controller for a 40 million dollar company; BUT, she doesn’t have the “instincts” to run an ultra high pressure company like Boeing. When something goes wrong at Boeing, people die in an instant by the hundreds. My daughter could not take that pressure. Most likely Pope can’t either. Boeing is still stuck in the mud, perhaps hopelessly.....in one mans opinion.

We are going to have to realize that women and men are different.

Women are great at jobs that require nurture. They're better with kids, that's not even a debate.

Men are competitive, rational, results-oriented and less likely to be influenced by their hormones.

There are rare female leaders who can lead. But they are exceptions. (Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir)
