I have to agree with you. I disagreed with him but felt he was a decent person. Sorry to hear he is gone.
Waht?
He teamed up with Al Gore? But he was a good person?
Maybe Lieberman had some class. But let’s knock off this good person stuff.
As bad as I found him to be ideologically, he never evoked the feeling in me that Schumer, Romney, McCain, or Warren do.
There is a serious difference between those disgusting people and Lieberman. And that is because current Democrats are so far Left now.
Wrote a great article maybe 20 years ago very critical of the Democratic party. He said Democrats went off the rails after 1968. He specifically said that Democrats were unable to tell friends from enemies, and were supporting foreign gov’ts that were trying to destroy the U.S.
Recent comments this week must have really pissed off Hillary.

CT. The original land of the ultimate RINO. Until they stopped needing to pretend and just went Dem.
“Democrats are so far Left now.”

Good riddance.
Yes...that was deliberate too, by the Media. Not. An. Accident.
He was always a non entity to me. Flexible core values.
He was 82, he’s dead. Happens to all of us.
He will be missed. He was a good man, with honor.
You say he was “one of last of the good politicians in either party”
For decades, Lieberman unswervingly supported abortion, which has killed 60 million innocent and defenseless human beings.
So what does it take to be a bad politician?
