See my #91. The Alaska Republican party put up a different candidate, but Mitch McConnell chose Murkowski and ran attack ads against Kelly Tshibaka.

The Alaska GOP censured McConnell in the state legislature, but that means nothing to McConnell. You know it's the end when McConnell's own sycophant turns on him.
