What kinds of jobs did some of us BOOMERS have???
HOW ABOUT THIS: ???
I have a background in Accounting -— hired straight out of high school by Kroger & trained on a machine called a COMPTOMETER-—a pre-runner to computers. Calculating invoices all day long-—for $1.30 an hour==$52 a week.
Worked in other office settings.
BUT -—When I needed to:
I worked as a grocery cashier ON MY FEET ALL DAY
I worked selling auto & racing parts-—AM a female who always showed up on time & got ALOT of badgering from customers-—But other counter staff told them-—DON’T PISS HER OFF-—She knows what she is doing.
I actually worked selling auto parts 6 days a WEEK-—Went to night school 2 nights a week (GOT 4.0 in all my classes) to get more accounting knowledge-—and worked the other 3 nights a week in a machine shop-—porting & polishing chambers on CYLINDER heads for improved performance.
WANT TO GUESS HOW HEAVY A SET OF 350 CHEVY HEADS ARE?
HOW ABOUT A SINGLE 454 CHEVY HEAD?????
PLENTY !!!!!
I also owned my own home at that time & did all the household & lawn chores.
I have yet to meet a kid today I would trust to keep the water tank full for my horse.
SPARE ME THEIR COMPLAINTS ABOUT TOUGH THEY HAVE IT.
But the task at hand is to BRING THEM ALONG.
Trump needs to have a "Come to Daddy" speech addressed to all the young who feel gypped. And we all need to support them and win them over from the Commie Rat side of things.
Think of it: Every person we flip from their side to ours is TWO votes: A positive vote for us and a negative vote for them.
There is no better way to turn our current nation mess into a resounding victory and build a HUGE reform movement for our country.
