If true, it is likely that a supeona for this hearing wasn’t needed because Hunter had agreed to show up for the hearing. It was expected that he would be there and he was a last minute no-show.
It was definitely something his attorney had asked for and it was granted. I don’t doubt it came off exactly as planned. “let them hold a hearing, saying we’ll attend and we’ll leave them high and dry.” Big mistake. They should have issued a subpoena anyway just to be on the safe side. They should have expected he and his attorney would pull that stunt.
