It’s not that they haven’t had control of the house, but the many times in between the liberals told them to go suck an egg when it was decision time.
Republicans controlled all 3 from 1861–1865, 1867–75, 1888–1891, 1895–1911, 1921–1933, 1953–55 and 2001–2006, and 2017–2019.
You’ll notice the time frame from 1955 till 2001. That’s when most of the unrepairable crap happened. And congressional oversite goes into the toilet with the latest trend of executive orders that go by congress like a screen door.
