Joe Simitian Pulls Back Into Second, Leading Evan Low by One Vote

The California Congressional District 16 race is now as close as it can get as Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian pulled back into second and now has a one-vote lead on his opponent Assemblymember Evan Low.

After being ahead by three votes yesterday, Low on Thursday didn’t pick up any new votes in the latest round of results, while Simitian picked up four — two in Santa Clara County and two in San Mateo County. Only 24 ballots relating to the race were counted.

They are all Democrats. Liccardo, who is the furthest to the right, came in 1st. Low is the most progressive.
