I have only been doing genealogy research for a couple of years now and have not gone back nearly as far as you have. I did find out, after telling people all of my life that I am not related to those other Kennedys, that my father and JFK were 11th cousins (they were descended from common grandparents in the 1500s). I guess I will need to change my Tagline. No intermarried relatives so far.
I did discover some slaveowners among both my father's and mother's ancestors. My daughter and her husband took DNA tests and according to my son-in-law's DNA test he has some African descendants. So, will my grandchildren have to pay reparations or receive them?
Well that’s cool. mostly i think my ancestors were pirates and vagabonds who left the Netherlands and them Ireland cuz they were protestants. but i am related via marriage to PM tony blair. His grandmother was a Lipsett and i think remarried one of my dads great uncles. My dads cousins all joked about tony Blair cuz they called him bunny cuz of the ears. My grandmom’s family is all ballyshannon. ulster. my dad when visiting years ago told a story about a late night cruise to the north maybe loading up stuff for the store his uncle and cousins had in town. maybe the one mentioned in the below wiki.
Hazel Corscadden was the daughter of George Corscadden, a butcher and Orangeman who moved to Glasgow in 1916. In 1923, he returned to (and later died in) Ballyshannon, County Donegal, in Ulster. In Ballyshannon, Corscadden’s wife, Sarah Margaret (née Lipsett), gave birth above the family’s grocery shop to Blair’s mother, Hazel.[11][12]
