Yeah, I consider myself very lucky to have met so many nice people during my travels and Civil War research. I still keep in touch with some of them. I lost contact with Mike several years ago unfortunately. I dug out the copy of his book he sent me. I read it years ago when it was published, and am going to try to read it again, in between all my other books, in order to refresh its contents in my brain. I watched the latest episode of "Manhunt" last night, and all I could do was shake my head at several of the scenes. I did some searches for online reviews. Some gave it a thumbs-up and some down. I also went to the IMDb site and checked the reviews for the program there. The majority of the 22 offered so far, were very critical. A large number of them complained about the casting, while others complained about the poor CGI, and scene backgrounds. In last night's episode the backdrop of what was supposed to be a war damaged Richmond was horrible. It looked like the hand painted scenes they use in stage plays.
