Russia evacuates Belgorod
Russia is evacuating Belgorod as the Oblast is now turning into a battlefield. Free Russian forces are continuing to fight inwards towards Belgorod, with both sides using heavy artillery.
Russian forces have been moved into the area, and are taking losses form Free Russian forces who still hold large swaths of the border region and are near the estern side of Belgorod.
Ukrainian forces inside Ukraine are focusing efforts on pushing the Russians out, and have inflicted high casualties on Russian forces.
“Zeepers don’t care if the taxpayers of this country are stripped of every cent we have.”
Unlikely. Ukraine’s piece of the budget is more than it should be, but not the biggest item on the budget by any stretch. What’ll drain the taxpayers of every cent they have is this constant influx of illegal aliens.
But beyond dollars and cents are the social experimentation being imposed on the military, along with the wide open border, and the total lack of concern about human trafficking, slavery, and fentanyl poisoning, and the legal vendetta against Trump, which is a direct assault on democracy.
The social contract has been violated worse than King George and Lord North ever dreamed of, and it’s a clear and present danger. Ukraine is just a footnote, but overall a worthy cause.
(Actually, this babushka looks like she’s probably much nicer than You-Know-Who.)
> What’ll drain the taxpayers of every cent they have is this constant influx of illegal aliens.
Ukraine is just a footnote, but overall a worthy cause.<
We HAVE been drained. This country has NO money! We borrow it. Every 100 days our debt increases by a TRILLION dollars. Future generations have been burdened with paying for our foolish spending.
We can’t afford to send Ukraine or any other country a single dime.
Even if we had the money, why pour it into a country that is not now, and never has been of vital interest to America?
Are you a U.S. Citizen? I ask because you fly an Israeli flag on your profile page.
>She’s reminding you to be kind.<
The old ladies in my life have reminded me to brush my teeth, don’t be late for school, stay out of the sun, don’t drive so fast, lock my doors, many helpful things.
A rock has never reminded me to do anything.
This rock fixation is bizarre. It’s cultish.
Korea was a footnote. Vietnam was a footnote, Afghanistan was a footnote, Iraq is a footnote. None of them were worthy causes, because none of them ended in decisive victories, and neither will Ukraine.
“Have a blessed holy week.”
Thank you for your Blessing.
“There you go again, dragging Jim Robinson into your little game again”
Actually bimboeruption began her screed in Comment #109 posted on 3/22/2024, 9:01:58 PM.
But, you are correct, in only that she cannot help himself.
Actually, I choose not to compromise my integrity by competing in a competition of insulting memes and comments toward opponents on my viewpoint. This is the Grey rock or consider just the simple application of Mr. Robinson’s posting guidelines of the ‘Golden Rule’ given for all.
LOL! You have no integrity to compromise.
“she cannot help himself”
I apologize for not knowing what pronouns to use.

As to decisive victories, wars are unpredictable. Nobody imagined decisive victories in either world war, or that they would be world wars. Whatever occurs in Ukraine, the moneys expended there are not going to take America’s last dollar, as the person to whom I was responding thought. It is a budgetary footnote.
As a proxy war, it might lead to the demise of the Putin dictatorship, and whatever follows after that, or it might lead to a nuclear holocaust, as was the case in Vietnam. No nuclear holocaust, fortunately, but a national humiliation for the US. It looks like it is expanding into a world wide war war of conventional arms, at least so far. How long that lasts depends, I think, on Israel finishing Hamas totally and completely, and then showing it’s ready for whatever Hizbollah throws at us, and NATO or several of its members putting paid to the Houthis’ threat to shipping in the straights.
But China to Taiwan is a wild card. If Ukraine continues to f@#$ over Putin’s dreams of a restored empire, China will take a hint and bide their time, which the Middle Kingdom is good at. If Putin wins a decisive victory in Ukraine, China will take that as a “go” sign and invade.
This is all assuming that the planned world wide famine does not go forward while all this is going on. Sri Lanka has already been f@#$ed. Ukraine’s farmland is under attack, and Russia’s farmland has a dearth of farmers, because they’re out attacking Ukraine. China’s buying up American farm land, and the Netherlands is busily destroying its own agriculture. If anything happens in Brazil, another great bread basket, the Great Reset will kick into high gear.
“This is all assuming that the planned world wide famine does not go forward while all this is going on.”
Yes, very true.
Let us not forget that U.S. government attack on the American farmer.

Let’s not forget that the arbitrary declarations of “wetlands” over a puddle in a driveway and the like started under Bush Sr., and was disruptive as hell to homeowners AND farmers. And safeguarding the Florida wetlands and water tables was justification for the open hostility of the fed Department of Agriculture to the Florida dairy farms. I witnessed that back in the early two thousands, when I was working dairy farms in the panhandle. And back in the day there was the Klamath Falls kovfefe, and to this day California is creating an artificial drought by denying their rich farmlands access to the Colorado river flow. Let ‘em eat bugs and snakes (latest idiocy).
I agree.
The Department of Environmental Services is given a free-hand to issue policy as well.
P.S.
I heard the Okefenokee is dryer & no longer ‘shaking’ in part by FL non-restrictions of building and usage/consumption of water from St. Johns River.
Wars this country are predictable. When they took the ability from our troops to wage all-out war against our enemy, and not have endless wars with thousands of deaths, and nothing to show for it, when waging war became just another investment for politicians, their family members, and their big donors to fill their pockets with cash, and when they put lawyers in battlezones to instruct our troops how not to offend our enemies, that's the day America lost the ability to win any war.
Read post #268 yourself. It was sent to you.
Nice speech. But American troops are not fighting this war, and shouldn’t. When you’re a super power, you don’t fight wars anymore. To extend your hypothesis, what did the Russians have to show for Afghanistan. What do they have to show for Ukraine. You support one side or the other of a conflict, and if the side you back wins, you can give yourself an attaboy, and the victorious proxy becomes your ally. If you don’t back him (Georgia), or back him half-heartedly (Israel), you don’t have an ally, and the proxy is conquered by the other power, unless he’s very resourceful and brave and has G-d’s protection (I hope Israel, and have bet my life on it).
But you don’t get sucked into it yourself. Bre’er Rabbit beat Bre’er Fox and Bre’er Bear every time, until he got stuck in the tar baby, and then they et him.
Not yet they aren't. But if they steal this election again, which is highly likely since they've gone all-out trying to get rid of Joe beforehand, and have so far been unsuccessful, U.S. troops will likely be in Ukraine. If you're so happy pissing away millions of dollars over there, while our own country is going bankrupt, and being destroyed from within, then you should go "support" Ukraine in person. While you're supporting that war over there, you're condemning this country to death. And if you don't believe in America First, then you shouldn't even be living here.
“Not yet they aren’t. But if they steal this election again, which is highly likely since they’ve gone all-out trying to get rid of Joe beforehand, and have so far been unsuccessful, U.S. troops will likely be in Ukraine.”
If they win this election, Ukraine will be the least of our worries, even if US troops go into Ukraine.
” If you’re so happy pissing away millions of dollars over there, while our own country is going bankrupt, and being destroyed from within, then you should go “support” Ukraine in person.”
Sorry, but I’m already committed to supporting Israel in person, not that I’m fit for military service here or there. Ukraine would have no use for an old geezer with two artificial hips, myopia and Type II diabetes.
“While you’re supporting that war over there, you’re condemning this country to death.”
The war in Ukraine is not expensive enough to “condemn the US to death.” Control your hyperbole. 60 billion is too much, imho. But even if it were handed over to Ukraine tomorrow, that wouldn’t make the US go bankrupt. It’s a drop in the bucket.
And if you don’t believe in America First, then you shouldn’t even be living here.”
FYI, I don’t live in the US. I live in Israel. But I do believe in America first, and I believe it’s in America’s interest to support both Ukraine and Israel. Whether that’s good for either Ukraine or Israel is a separate question. In the case of Ukraine, I’d say yes, to tide them over until Trump is sworn in and ends that entirely avoidable war, and the gravy train that it brings to all the wrong people. In the case of Israel, we could do without such “help”. Too many strings attached, and too much backstabbing by Traitor Joe.
We are printing money everyday that has no backing. This country is severely in debt that continues to get higher every day. Our own resources here are being depleted. People can’t afford to put gas in their car, or food on the table without resorting to credit card use, which debt across the nation has risen sharply, and will rise even more. We’re being invaded by droves of illegals from all parts of the world creating even more debt and crime. Yet you don’t see that as a problem, or a priority, but want to spend even more on a proxy war 5,000 miles away in a country that we have no national security interest in? That is extremely sad, especially for somebody who is likely as old as I am, and should know better by this stage in their life.
