A federal appeals court late Tuesday night put Texas’ controversial immigration law back on hold, hours after the Supreme Court had cleared the way for the state to begin enforcing the measure.
In a brief order, a three-judge panel at the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to wipe away a previous ruling from a different panel that had temporarily put the law, which would allow state officials to arrest and detain people they suspect of entering the country illegally, into effect.
The panel of judges that issued Tuesday night’s order is already set to hear arguments Wednesday morning on Texas’ request to put the law, Senate Bill 4, back into effect pending the state’s appeal of a federal judge’s block on the law.

Forget the Supreme Court earlier today, now the appeals court reverses them.

How does an “appeals” court full of second string losers override the SCOTUS? This country’s so-called justice system is ****ed up worse than we thought. The fags have taken complete control.

I always thought that as a co equal branch of government; the SC was the last word.

What exactly. The courts are overriding each other’s ruling and within the court of appeals it appears to be a new group of three, not the original that was overturned by the Supreme Court earlier today. Hard to keep up.

Is the SCOTUS now the SubSupreme Court? When did a bunch of second string roadkill get the right to override the Supreme Court? Some azhos need to go to jail.

The courts are overriding each other’s ruling
On top of the Supreme Court overruling their own stay yesterday. The judges don't know what to do. Immigration is the flash point that will most likely lead to the next civil war. They don't want the next Dred Scott case.

Not only is our justice system corrupt, but it has become a clown show.

On the appeals court, Judge Priscilla Richman [Smirking Chimp stooge] and Judge Irma Carillo Ramirez [Biden stooge] voted to block the law. Judge Andrew Oldham [Trump judge] voted for it to remain into effect while the court considers whether to block it.

It was a Dubya stooge and a Biden stooge versus a Trump judge.

Makes no sense. The Supreme Court can be appealed? Does that mean they have to take the case again? Mind boggling.

SCOTUS sent the case back down to the Appeals court. SCOTUS doesn’t want to mess with it now.

Nothing is ever settled until it is settled the way the left wants it settled, and only then is it settled. The battle is forever.

This is very bizarre. Normal internal operating procedures of the U.S. Courts of Appeal are that a three judge panel can only be overridden by that court sitting en banc. For one three judge panel to countermand another is just pure chaos. Some of these judges are obviously on the take to violate basic procedure like this.

Samual Alito is supposed to be leading the 5th US Court of Appeals.
