President Biden on Tuesday touted the decrease in crime in 2023, citing data from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
The FBI data, released on Tuesday found that the U.S. experienced 11 percent less crime in cities over 1 million people compared to 2022, 13 percent fewer murders overall and 6 percent less violent crime.
“Across America, families want the same thing: the freedom to feel safe in their community. To know their kids are secure. My Administration is making it a reality,” Biden said in a statement.
Biden said that in 2020, before he took office, “the prior administration oversaw the largest increase in murders ever recorded. My Administration got to work on day one to fix that.”

And a criminal is merely a measure of potential use for the state.
This tin-horn ‘Emperor’ clearly has no clothes.
expected. Most crime is in dem controlled urban cities who are prosecuting less crime. We saw this coming.
I know... It's not like they're political or anything.
I thought same thing. Total baloney sandwiches.
If you know that crime rates are down, and you also know that we have to ban guns ... you might be a Democrat.
Yeah and if you keep having Soros DAs drop the charges or plead down all felonies to misdemeanors, poof!
Around here we have “bail reform” which means pervs and murderers are on catch and immediately release. They usually end up doing more crimes and not showing up for their “appearance ticket.” Assault is now called “harassment.”
In the USSC arguments on social media and first amendment rights, not one presenter mentioned that the federal government agencies placed agency employees inside those companies as spies and content rats following political orders. I would say FBI agents inside my company controlling my business is a “Big effing Deal”.
So Joe reduced crime after the dems artificially increased it to help him get elected.\.
The FBI could standardize reporting but they’re as corrupt as Hunter Biden without half the fun.
Let’s say One blue hellhole city has a ‘low’ burglary rate because theft isn’t a felony until over $10,000 is taken. And overall theft is down because as the Mayor tells the cops too many arrests make the city look bad... besides the no cash bail thing means lowlifes are back on the street before the ink is dry on their arrest form (Ok before their information is downloaded)
A pleasant red city says ‘theft is any amount taken over $200” so their statistics don’t look as good. The mayor wants citizens to be safe and encourages arrests.
The only way to know the truth is how citizens ‘feel’... and unlike President Sniffer with all his layers of security - citizens don’t feel safe...
Biden says prices are down too - he and his goons are lying about that too.
But, there are a lot of right-wing, while, MAGA/Trump supporters. Those are the real criminals, but even their criminality won.t get reported because, it would distort the liberals’ low-crime narrative.
(The exceptions are homicides and car thefts, the latter because insurance companies require a police report.)

Since in most cases, the criminal is never prosecuted, making a report to the police is pointless.
And criminals are often teens, who are not charged so no crime is counted.
And inflation is practically gone too!
And it happened without an AWB
Are we going to believe a government report that is passed along by The Hill? Neither one is worthy of trust.
The FBI chose 2021 to change their reporting format and many cities did not change to the new format so the data was “estimated”. Unlike the FBI, you can’t make this stuff up.

The UCR was changed, again, massively, in 2021 and 2023. This puts a huge burden on every law enforcement agency like you would not believe. But the fact is that crime is up in some of the new statistics by 44 percent.
Property crimes increased by 7.3%, with instances of robbery increasing by 1.3% nationwide.
Hate crime incidents also increased, according to the FBI’s data.
Over 11,634 hate crime incidents were reported in 2022, compared with 10,840 the previous year.
Conflicting reports on violent crime trend
2022 FBI crime statistics shows a 1.7% decline in violent crime compared to 2021. But the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey shows a 44% increase. The two Justice Department reports have never disagreed so much on violent crime’s year-over-year trend.
