“...I don’t refer to movies for advice.”

That’s not what that entry was about. It to give people the opportunty to realize that nuclear scenarios are not something new. The only new things we add to it anymore are who has the capacity now as the threat from countries grows. And any effort toward any of the launch scenarios could cause hundreds of launches all over the world. The US has about 20 minutes before the first possible device is detinated in the CONUS. And Russia, the party being talked about, has a couple of thousand active warheads with some ready to throw a few from subs all over both our coast lines.

So you may not take advice from movies. But that little instance was correct concerning scenarios. And if you stop and think, both Russia and the US are well aware of what would happen if there was a launch. If we are so smart, then why are we so suicidal? And why is Newsmax trying to hide the real truth about nuclear war to scare people that have been under the threat for a few generations?

In 1960, the United States developed its first Single Integrated Operational Plan, a range of targeting options, and described launch procedures and target sets against which nuclear weapons would be launched. That’s been expanded clear through today and changes with situations. So what’s the issue?
