It’s well known that this is the reason for a police agency rather then the military.

This is the search link; lot of opposing claims.

I’m from the border and from a line of government / LE people there. It was explained to me in the early ‘60s that Posse Comitatus (PCA) was the motivation for using the BP since ordinary individual border crossing was not considered a military issue, just a legal issue.

Is it an invasion now and meriting a military response? It’s a matter of debate. Think that the enormity of what’s happening and the fact that many are from countries openly hostile to the US would mean it can be characterized as one. But General Santa Anna is not leading his troops in uniform and in formation, so it’s subjective.

That’s all bullshit. “Domestic” policing is just that.

Foreign nationals pouring across the border is not “domestic”.

Anybody that claims “we” can’t use the Army to secure the border is smoking their socks.

What is the Army for?

Has everyone forgotten, or are they just inured to the notion that it’s perfectly fine to to have 100s of overseas military bases and operations, wars, and thousands KIA, MIA, prisoners of war - without a declaration of war by congress mind you - but America cannot protect the border?

Brainwashing (Hypnosis??) works, is all I can say. “Subjective” my ass.
