Meh, I am not going to get over my disgust. Not much use arguing over it. The US is dying and has quite frankly asked for it.
The deeper problem goes back before JFK—Eisenhower and even Truman eventually warned that the Deep State had gotten out of control.
It was George Washington who warned about the dangers of foreign entanglements.
Once you go down that road nothing good comes of it.
Each war just sets up the next one—and the one after that—and the one after that....
