A poor article that lies at the start. Vaughan Gething’s father is a Welshman and his mother is from Zambia. So he is not an “immigrant from Zambia” he is a born Welshman and has had UK citizenship from birth.
Gething appears to had a fairly normal career for a Welsh Labour MS (Member of the Senedd) Cabinet Officer. His skin color appears to be the only difference from any other Labour candidate. And given it’s Wales, a Labour leader who is not a raving loon is about as good as you are going to get there. Certainly better than Plaid Cymru.
As far as the other two, Rishi Sunak was a longstanding Conservative MP who aside from his ethnicity and religion has the same Public School and Oxbridge background as a hundred other MPs (and is probably the reason he is an un-inventive leader taking the Tories into the toilet next election...)
Humza Yousaf is nothing more or less than a toady for Nicola Sturgeon who was shoved into the office to try to cover for her corruption. Ethnicity was not an issue for him getting into office, loyalty to Sturgeon was.

Funny but my ancestry goes back to York in the 1600s and thence back for who knows, at least another 800 years. Lost in the sands of time. NONE of these people were anywhere NEAR that island until after 1970, LONG after the English Empire came and went. Being “British” isn’t a matter of civic nationalism, it’s genetics bubba.
