Has anybody you know in their lifetime ever been persuaded by a TV or radio ad to change their mind regardless of party? I haven’t in 50 full years of this crap.

It's all about getting out your base to vote. Biden voters may be lukewarm about the guy. They don't really like him like they did with Obama. But Biden will remind them that they're voting against Trump.

People are influenced by mass media. That is a simple fact. An older, more mature voter might not be, but there is a huge swath of the public that will form opinions; and being inundated with propaganda 24/7 for months will definitely affect some.
