I had more faith in the judge doing the right thing. It is depressing to see how corrupt the legal system has become. Just 10 years ago, for a judge to rule in this manner on such an obvious case of conflict was the exception and not the rule. And EVERY reputable attorney would be aghast at the ruling. Now, the judge has little worries about the loss of his reputation or the future of his career. Instead, being corrupt improved his career chances.
Agreed except for your timeline it seems; even TWO years ago we had more law and order in this nation than now. It’s being turbo charged into chaos.
God said in Romans 8:28 though that ALL things work together for good for those that are called according to HIS purpose.
