The free speech video platform Rumble has offered to buy TikTok, as legislation moves through Congress that would see the popular social media platform banned in the US if parent company ByteDance does not divest from TikTok
In the event that ByteDance divests its ownership in TikTok, Rumble is ready to join a consortium with other parties seeking to acquire and operate TikTok inside the United States. Specifically, we are ready to serve as a cloud technology partner," a letter from Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski to TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew states.

You could not be more incorrect. Tick-tock is utterly filled with conservative thought. Not only that, but with normal life thought. Your feed will quickly be filled with creative and interesting cooking tips, 10 minute videos explaining something in the Bible, Jordan Peterson, useful tips on self improvement in life, precious videos of babies and children and women raising families in a traditional household. I don’t know where you got the idea that conservatism is not allowed on TikTok, it’s really the main thrust. You never see anything woke unless you actively search for it. Not only that, you’re not bombarded with comments about each video, but if you seek them out very few of them are woke.

That would be tragic if it got American ownership rather than Singaporean. The entire goal of the government is to bring it under the control of American law, the plan is to ensure NSA, CIA, and FBI have back doors, and regular access to the CEO and staff.
Rumble indeed. They are so small, it would be roughly like you or me offering to form a consortium and operate it. And while I enjoy Rumble very much, their product is far more clunky than the TikTok platform. Not even close to the same quality level.

How exactly do you see it as leverage to enrage a whole generation? What do you gain from that? For bonus points do you actually think DC is trying to protect America? So Zuckerberg calls his bought and paid for Congressfools and demand they do something about it. So with that pressure from a gigantic donor, and the prodding from the security State apparatus in America, they swing into action. Don’t be naïve.
