GA started early voting 12 Feb. Low turnout.
I am working the polls today. Been open for 50 minutes, and 5 people have voted.
There are 11 choices on the Republicans ballot and 2 on the Dim ballot.
Still need a showing of how much support Trump has, in the only manner which matters: the ballot box.

Georgia Senate Ethics Committee Passes Bill to Remove Raffensperger from Board of Elections – And Grant the Board Authority to Investigate Him

Via Behizy: The Georgia Senate Ethics Committee has passed a bill that would remove Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger from the Board of Elections and grant the board authority to investigate him for election law violations
The bill will be voted on by the full senate in the coming weeks and should pass both houses easily.
The bill would also allow the BOE to investigate local election officials as well. More importantly, the Board would have the power to hire their own investigators as opposed to relying on the Secretary of State’s office to do so.

THE TIMELINE: How the FBI Thwarted the Investigation into the Hacked Georgia Election Machines and Targeted the Whistleblowers Instead

Here is an abbreviated timeline.
Georgia election servers were assessed around the 2016 election, and officially hacked a few months later. Back then, Kennesaw State University ran the election servers for the State of Georgia. The FBI, DHS, SOS Kemp, and Georgia AG’s office went to great lengths to prevent any meaningful investigation. Below is a recap and timeline. Note the activity immediately after the Curling v Kemp lawsuit was filed.
Aug. 2016: 2 whistleblowers tell GA (KSU) their election servers can easily be hacked.
Nov. 2016: Several attempts made by DHS to access these servers around election day.
Dec. 2016: SOS Kemp sends letter to DHS, oddly asks about just one intrusion on Nov. 15th.
Kemp oddly doesn’t ask about their many intrusions around Nov. 7th election day.
March 2nd, 2017: Hackers delete many GA election files, including all logs of DHS intrusions.
March 2017: GA (KSU) notifies FBI election severs were hacked. FBI makes a forensic copy.
June 2017: Handel (R) beats Osoff (D) in a runoff. Dems say election probably rigged.
July 3rd, 2017: Dems file Curling v Kemp lawsuit in Fulton Cty. Want new election machines.
July 5th, 2017: DHS responds to SOS, says trainee just trying to access gun licenses on GA server.
July 6th, 2017: KSU officials order IT staff to wipe clean the election servers (nuked).
Sept. 2017: Curling plaintiffs ask AG for copy of server. AG says data not available.
Oct. 2017: AP News story proves Georgia AG lied to “Curling” plaintiffs. Entire AG office leaves case.
AG told everyone the servers were wiped before the case was filed, and knew this was untrue.
Oct, 2017: FOIA docs show FBI planned from onset to never investigate GA (KSU) hack.
Dec. 2017: In DC hearing, FBI Chris Wray refuses to answer if GA hack was investigated.
2017-2019: Curling plaintiffs ask FBI for their copy of the GA server. FBI refuses for 2+ years.
July 2019: Kemp, who is now Gov, signs $107mil deal to buy Dominion equipment.
Dec. 2019: Dominion delivers election equipment to GA.
Dec. 2019: FBI finally releases copy of election servers to “Curling” plaintiffs.
Jan. 2024: Professor Halderman from Michigan demonstrates in court the ease in hacking the Dominion voting machines.
Once again, it appears the FBI was involved in the criminal activity. The Bureau was not there to protect the people. They lied about their lack of an investigation and targeted the whistleblowers.

This is a big deal.
Brad Raffensperger and Gabriel Sterling lied in January 6th hearing testimony about Fulton County Election Audit accuracy.
Governor Kemp deserves some credit possibly for admitting finally there is a problem. We’ll have to wait and see.

Fwiw, my precinct is rural N GA. The vast majority have been republican ballots. Ga is non partisan for primaries so there is that risk.
The big fish is Wicker in Mississippi-RINO.
The challenger is Burton and a 3rd one will dilute his challenge. Do we or do we not mean business? I say no otherwise this challenge will be higher profile.
I will vote Trump today (for all the good it will do). Near as I can remember, Washington voters haven’t prevailed in voting in a Republican President since Reagan won in 1984. By and large, voting Republican is a fruitless exercise - not just here, but for the entire 3-state “Left Coast.”

trump needs only 137 of the 161 GOP delegates up for grabs today to achieve the majority of delegates necessary to make him the presumptive GOP Presidential nominee ...
In Georgia, the only thing on the ballot is the Presidential primary. That may suppress turn-out since people know who the nominee for each party will be and may not bother to go vote. The state and locate primary elections will be held on March 21. The media will use low turn-out numbers to promote the narrative that Trump has little support in Georgia.
Meanwhile, in Fulton County, Georgia, they are having “unexpected IT outages”. I’m not sure how that is affecting voting in the county.

We just voted. There are about 12 candidates on the ballot. Haley, Christie, Vivek etc.
The scanner rejected my ballot 3 times and the poor black college kid who was monitoring the machine was saying it’ll take it in a minute. I said “ its because I didn’t vote for Biden? Everybody laughed. They all know those machines are rigged. I can hardly stomach going there. I’m now in a terrible mood.
One run-off election to keep an eye on as the results come in this evening:
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The seat for Georgia House District 125 is heading to a run-off.
In the run-off will be Gary Richardson and CJ Pearson. Richardson lead the election with 1,131 votes, with Pearson right behind him with 1,011.
The runoff will be held March 12.
The special election is for the seat vacated by Barry Fleming after he was appointed as a judge by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.
During the three weeks of advance voting, 879 people voted. Officials say 28 of the 35 absentee-by-mail ballots have been received in Columbia County.
Conservatives should be rooting for C.J.Pearson! He is a young spit-fire and a great supporter of President Trump.
