Maher took a turn a few years ago. He’s now distancing himself from all that “progressive” nonsense. Instead he’s been talking like a classical liberal, like someone in the JFK mold.
I don’t think it’s a gimmick. Maybe Maher has finally realized the peril that the country is in.
Maybe he sees the basic cruelty of Joe Biden or even the banality of evil.
