Many younger folks have no intention of getting married or having children. A part of that is financial, but mostly because they know they're messed up from whackjob parents (if they even know their fathers) and don't wish to subject their own children to it.
They're not going to be a slave to the grind for the sake of children they're not having.
If they're not protecting their own senior assistance with children, then they need to do it with assets.
