If you saw Biden's SOU speech you saw a man making his last stand, using his last ounce of strength to avoid the inevitable.
If you want to see an example from nature, go to YouTube. Pull up a video of a herd of animals crossing a river in Africa. Almost inevitably a croc will grab one. If the croc’s grip is firm, the animal will struggle to free itself. But crocs are powerful animals and though sometimes the animal will free itself, most of the time it will be dragged under. It will struggle and just before the end, it will use all its remaining strength to make one last effort at avoid death. But again, almost inevitably, the croc will drag it under.
Death and senility have Mr Biden in their grasp and will not let got. The SOU speech was his one last gasp of strength at preventing DOJ from regaining the presidency.
If Mr Biden does not go downhill from here, I will be greatly surprised.
