I taught my children to read with phonics when they were toddlers. Have you ever seen a four-year-old order a mushroom omelet off a menu?
I did the same. Had a phonics book and taught them to read before Kindergarten.
That’s great. My mom was the reading professional for her school district. I had to hear about reading science for decades. LOL.
We share a love for reading and that is the BIGGEST thing for kids. My kids learned early as well…but most kids are way, way behind that.
