Doritos and its parent PepsiCo have a fiduciary obligation to shareholders to not take actions that may severely impair the profitability of their companies.
They took this action, and having seen what happened to the BudLight brand, could have forseen the potential consequences.
Shareholders should absolutely demand that PepsiCo publicly sack those responsible at the Doritos AND PepsiCo levels; otherwise, their stock will be a strong sell for the rest of the month.
I’m so glad I sold all my PepsiCo stock.
