Your tagline was ahead of its time.
Jesus is the way. Dennis ought ponder that.
He probably didn't mention it because, like an increasing number of self-described "Conservatives" (including many Freepers) he has a soft, compromising position on this issue. As if ANY human life were not worth saving, no matter what their stage of human development, from conception to natural death.
I like it, I may have to steal that one.
When people say that, they really mean the values in the combined Old Testament and New Testament Bible. So yes, there is such a thing. Having said that, though, it is not entirely true. Our nation's founding principles are rooted in The Enlightenment.
The Democrats just ordered tampons in all the school bathrooms in my state (CT).
There is nothing to discuss with people like that.
We have zero common ground.
“There is now no denying there are 2 diametrically opposed nations within our borders: America and Antiamerica. We are not willing to live at the mercy of each other under a political shift every 4 years. The response to our unresolvable conflict is to recognize that there is one nation under common-natural law, one nation under mob rule: a 2 country system.”
I wrote this 11/28/2020 and didn’t post it because I don’t think a 2 country system works.
“We have zero common ground.”
And if we did, that would mean that we were just as insane, demented and ‘sans discernment delusional’ as they are.
“ How are we to bridge the gap between those who believe men can become women and women can become men and those who don’t believe this?”
Simple. Put XX or XY on every bathroom door.
I’ll go with half as many extremists.
Doom and gloom is a best seller.
It is hilarious though that communists, collectivists, conformists, cultists are all birds of the same feather.
We are the party of rugged individualism.
The notions that an united right wing is going to counter attack are as fanciful as CW II and Great Depression II or things that are never happening.
In the end, don’t let any of it get you down.
These folks are wrong as a way of life and sell a lot of anti depressants besides carrying water for the divide and conquer cultural Marxists.
I agree the Divide is not bridgeable, but I do wonder, and worry, as to how it is going to be resolved.
PS People have been voting with their own two feet in exodus out of blue America as never seen previously, beyond Obama doubling the number of party losses under any two termer.
Despite 90% of industry/institution/industry colluding and conspiring-the Democrats cling to slimmest margin of power.
Trump is the less than even money betting favorite
Dems have twice as many Senate seats to defend.
GOP went 27-0 in House toss up races in 2020.
Now is the time to be optimistic and looking forward to the future.
Here is a simple issue for you.
The radical left says “from the river to the sea” which means their position is “kill all the Jews”.
The “right wing extremists” say no—leave the Jews alone.
What is the “moderate” position—kill half the Jews?
Agreed on the election situation—the gloom and doomers do not understand the details of the current political landscape.
That said—we cannot compromise. There is nothing to compromise about....
“ I agree the Divide is not bridgeable, but I do wonder, and worry, as to how it is going to be resolved.”
The same way it’s always been.
L
“How “no such thing”?”
I’m not going to get into a days long theological debate (seriously, I’m not), but I will give MY opinion; if a person believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Son of God, how can they share the values of those who explicitly deny that? No disrespect intended, but you can take or leave it.
“I agree the Divide is not bridgeable, but I do wonder, and worry, as to how it is going to be resolved.”
Being the realist (some call it pessimist) that I am... and have been ...
due to having observed the radical left only get “”progressively”” worse... over the past several decades ...
I don’t think it can be “resolved”... peacefully.
If you study history, you will see.
Jesus always pointed people to the Ten Commandments, which were given to Moses for him to give to the Israelites. Also written by Jesus with His own finger. Not shared?
I’m aware this is Dennis Prager, whose understanding of such things is in no way perfect. But how perfect would the understanding be of any given individual? I can’t blame Prager for seeking common ground notwithstanding.
