I am trying to estimate the delegate count tonight.

Here is the starting point:

https://apnews.com/hub/ap-election-2024-delegate-tracker

They already show President Trump with 751 delegates.

No brainers to add:

—Alabama another 15
—Arkansas another 13
—Colorado another 12
—Massachusetts another 40
—Minnesota another 4
—North Carolina another 50
—Oklahoma another 6
—Tennessee another 18
—Texas another 103
—Virginia another 21

So—even ignoring Utah and Alaska that is another 282 delegates.

751 + 282 = 1,033 delegates

Total to nominate = 1,215

President Trump is getting very close to that number with a stunning performance tonight.

I thought it would take until March 19 to wrap up the nomination but it is beginning to look like March 12 is doable.
