“The minions that push the pencils for the DC bureaucracy will walk off the job if Trump is elected”

I think you and many here overestimate the democrat hold on Federal workers. Most pollling shows a political breakdown among Federal workers as about 35% Republican, 46% democrat and the remainder independent. Trump does have support in the Federal civilian workforce, especially at DOD and Homeland Security. Having guys like Ramiswany and others demand that Federal workers end all telework and remote work does not win any friends or supporters among the rank and file however. Among top priorities listed for Federal workers were pay, the ability to telework and getting budgets passed on time.

My understanding is that in the last several elections 94% of the federal bureaucracy voted democrat.

There are guys that I do know who do work in the federal bureaucracy. They are conservative. They have to be very very careful about what they say.

I know more guys who stepped out of the bureaucracy—especially the military —when the woke policy directives started filtering in.

If Trump wins he will likely take out the top floors of all the three letter agencies and some of all the others.

But he likely won’t get much further down into the bureaucracy than that.

He will also knock out all the woke policies—which will mean all of the bureaucracy that supervises that will be evicted.

Likely too Trump will re-introduce meritocracy to the bureaucracy. That will make for some longer term changes —if trump is succeeded by a republican.

Otherwise, everything he does will be immediately reversed.
