Top Senate Republicans are slated to attend a fundraiser for Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake on Wednesday as the party looks to coalesce around her ahead of November.
Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), chairman of the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, will be in attendance at the D.C. fundraiser, along with other top Republicans, including Sens. John Thune (R-S.D.), John Cornyn (R-Texas) and John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), according to a copy of the invite obtained by The Hill.
The latter three senators are running for, or said to be eyeing, the Senate GOP leader position.
Seventeen Senate Republicans are expected to attend in total.
Lake is considered the heavy favorite to win the Republican nomination in the Arizona Senate race. She’s looking to take on Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) in November for Sen. Kirsten Sinema’s (I-Ariz.) seat, though it’s unclear if Sinema will run for reelection.

Prediction: Sinema has the hots for Kari Lake, and wants to date her. Ergo, Sinema will endorse Kari and campaign with her.
Not exactly the team who'd I like to have my back. Makes me somewhat suspect of Kari.
I like Kari, but I think she copies Sarah Palin with the mama grizzlies etc.
These RINOs are wanting to back a winner. As if they were supporting her from day one.

Look at it from the power perspective. Three candidates for the Senate throne are kissing the ring of an outsider conservative!

The Republican establishment recognizes which way the wind is blowing. Politicians are shameless when it comes to boarding the express train, even when it’s one they’ve worked feverishly to sabotage. I hope she realizes the sabotage won’t stop just because they wish to appear to be supporters.
They couldn’t be any worse than these lifetime RINOs. Might as well have zelensky step in as leader.
Kari lake is aligning with these guys? She would be much better off exposing who the man back east is. She has been on James Okeefes show, so here is hoping.
I am beyond sure that the “Three Johns” are there to cut a deal with Kari for their support. “So Kari, if you play ball there will be enough campaign money at your disposal to buy the senate seat outright. Conversely if you don’t support our RINO ways, your opponent will have that cash.”
So, does Kari play ball to get elected? or tell the “Three Johns” to F.O. and hope for grassroots support?
Too many Freepers think she is great. She’s not. She’s a loon. She will take whatever she perceives is best for her without regard to Arizona. Like Biden, and what Obama said about Biden, she will pick wrong.
Sheriff Mark Lamb would be a better candidate in the general election. I don’t know why they chose to support her.
